Parking Express Llegadas (“Express Arrivals”) is the official Aena pick-up car park at Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC). It sits on the arrivals-level roadway right beside the terminal building: you park a few steps from the Arrivals door and walk straight in — there is no shuttle because none is needed. A separate Express Salidas lot serves the Departures level for drop-offs.

How a pick-up works, step by step

1. Check on the Aena website or app that the flight has landed before you drive in.
2. Enter via the arrivals-level roadway and follow the green “P Express” totem; take a ticket at the barrier and note your entry time.
3. Only drive in once your passenger confirms they have their luggage — the clock runs from minute 1.
4. Leaving before minute 10: drive straight to the exit barrier, no cashier stop needed.
5. Past 10 minutes: pay for the full stay at the cashier window before you exit.

Express Llegadas vs Express Salidas

Alicante-Elche Airport has two express lots with identical conditions (10 free minutes, 2-hour maximum, manual payment at the cashier window):

When to use it — and when not to

It pays off when the flight has already landed and the pick-up takes minutes. It does not pay off for delayed flights or long waits: you are billed per minute from the start, and past 2 hours the daily maximum applies. For longer waits, use one of the airport’s general car parks, which have no 2-hour cap, or wait outside the airport perimeter until your passenger confirms they have their bags.
